I’m not sure what flowers I want to give - can you help?

We have a team of expert florists who can give you help and advice, to make the whole process quick and easy. Please call us on 01732 450145 or pop into our lovely shop to look at our selection of fresh flowers. If there are particular flowers the recipient does or does not like, do mention that to us. Likewise, if they enjoy bright coloured flowers or perhaps more pastel shades, we can take that into account when creating the arrangement.

How much do they cost and what should I spend?

If you are planning on having flowers or a plant delivered, prices start from £25 plus delivery.  If you would prefer to visit the shop, flowers are priced per stem and you can buy as few or as many as you like.  If you would like us to make up a bouquet or arrangement for you whilst you wait, we are more than happy to do this.

I'm struggling to order online - can I speak to someone?

Of course! Please do not hestitate to call us on 01732 450145 - we are open Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm and on Saturdays from 9.00am to 4.00pm. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Will my order be made and delivered by you?

Yes, within our delivery area (see Sevenoaks Delivery page) all orders are made up by our florists and delivered by our own delivery drivers.  Outside our area, your order will be fulfilled by an Interflora member, each of whom have to meet strict quality standards.

What information do I need to order?

For all orders we will need the recipient’s full name and address and ideally, a contact telephone number and anything we will need to be aware of when we deliver (e.g. if out, please leave in garage). We can also include a gift card, hand-written with a message of your choice, so please also think about what you might like to say.  We will also need your name, address, email address (so we can send you a delivery confirmation), phone number and payment details. We accept Visa and MasterCard (including Maestro and Cirrus) but we don't accept American Express or Diners Club. Payments are processed securely via WorldPay.

I live outside the UK - can I still place an order?

Yes, you can still place and order for delivery in the UK if you live in another country. Please place your order on the website or call us and we'll be delighted to take your order over the phone.

Can I send any gifts with my flower order?

We sell a range of Champagne, red, white and rose wine, helium balloons and Belgian chocolates which you can add to your online order or over the phone. Visit Shop Online to see the full range.

Do you deliver?

Our team of drivers will personally deliver in and around the Sevenoaks area on Mondays to Saturdays from 9:00AM onwards but timed deliveries are unfortunately not an option. The areas we deliver to include Borough Green, Chelsfield, Chiddingstone, Eynsford, Hadlow, Halstead, Hildenborough, Kemsing, Knockholt, Shipbourne, Stansted, Tonbridge, Westerham and Wrotham. As a member of Interflora, we can arrange delivery of your order to addresses across the UK. We can also arrange delivery to most international destinations. For more information please see our National and International Delivery page.

What happens if the recipient is out when you try to deliver?

If we are unable to deliver the gift to the recipient, we will post a 'Sorry we missed you' card through their letterbox, explaining that we have either left it in a safe place, with a neighbour or asking the recipient to contact us to make other arrangements. Where possible, we will always try to leave the gift in a safe, dry place and out of sight. Please note, orders containing alcohol must be signed for by someone over the age of 18.

Do you sell unconditioned flowers?

Yes, we supply unconditioned and conditioned flowers to church flower coordinators, flower clubs and NAFAS demonstrators in the local area - and we offer a generous discount for these types of orders with The Sevenoaks Florist Concession Card. Please call us for more details.

Can I arrange for flowers to be delivered weekly or monthly?

Yes, we can schedule in regular deliveries of beautiful flowers to both business and private addresses, as often as you like, up to 12 months in advance. Please call us with your requirements and we will be happy to advise you.

Have you got any tips on looking after cut flowers at home?

1. Use clean water mixed with the right dose of flower food . . . one sachet per half litre

2. Alway use a clean vase to avoid the risk of cross contamination

3. Cut about 3cm off the bottom of your flowers at an angle using a sharp knife before you put them in the vase, and remove any leaves that will be below the water line

4. Top them up with flower food-treated water after a few days

5. Flowers will last longer if they are displayed away from direct sunlight, draughty areas and central heating

How do I look after an arrangment delivered in oasis (flower foam)?

Keep your arrangement fresh by carefully adding a small amount of water to the oasis daily and place it on a mat to protect the underlying surface.
